Most of that depends on ones perception of it!!!! How its used, what its used for, the compensation from it and if the time away from work is quality or not... appreciated in the manner it should be or not? Yes in some ways "work" is inconvenient but what would life be if you didn't? You'd have a lot more time available but at what quality? And in what manner would the work time be replaced? Would THAT be as good or better benefit wise for you?
One can follow through with the normal "work" routine for awhile and as long as things are done correctly, intelligently etc. one can create for themselves the means to get OUT of that routine and have much more.... It doesn't come easy nor is it easy going through the process of it! But it is possible to accomplish! What are you willing to sacrifice for that???

Agree. I feel like I'm wasting my life away every day I get up and have to go to work for 8 hours. That's 2080 hours per year that I waste, and if I started working full time at age 18 and retire at 75 (which is what will happen because generation x won't get any Social Securty funds) that's approximately 118,560 hours in my lifetime that I will have wasted at work.

Agree and disagree:
According to the Bible, work is a curse to us because of Adam and Eve's sin. If both did not eat the forbidden fruit, we won't be working now. We will all just be grabbing what we need to eat. God's curse to mankind is that we all need to work for what we are going to eat.
So accept it or not we ALL MUST work. Be it inconvenience or not.. Read the first 4 chapters of Genesis

I read somewhere, when you work, you are charging for a little piece of your life. Because we only get so many hours to live, so when we charge for our time, we sell our life!
But I can't think of an honorable alternative to hard work. Which reminds me, I'm not at lunch right now!!! Back to work!!!

Work is an inconvenience only to the extent that the specific job is neither something you enjoy nor something that remunerates you adequately for the value of your time.

I agree if you are not being paid the amount to augment your lifestyle.
I disagree if you are paid more than your worth and just griping because you could be surfing today.
