How long do we have to wait for my wife to take a preg test. say we just had sex a couple of days ago, would the preg test work today or tomorrow?? I need some help

It won't work until she is closer to her period. I think it can tell within 5 days of (after) when she was supposed to start (depending on which one you get).
I just read some of your other questions...why have you been so concerned about the morning after pill and now are rushing to find out if she is pregnant?
If you aren't ready to have a baby, use protection...like a condom, birth control pills...not the morning after pill..
And for the last question, yes it is a risk. Pulling out is not birth control.

A pharmacy has tests that can tell within 24 hours. You don't need a prescription to get it just ask the pharmacist, they will direct you.
If religion, or some other belief prohibits you from using birth control a calendar works pretty good, you just have to keep very close track.

i say wait a week or a week and a half then take it beacus it takes a few days for the eggs to attach it self on the uterus but if you really want to get pg... have sex 11-14 days after your girl has her period... the eggs starts to ovulate at that time.. it worked for me...
