I have a purple, blue and white striped new bathing suit. I rinsed it off and hung to dry after the first time I wore it and the purple stripes bled into the white stripes leaving them stained light purple. First, is there anyway to remove the stains that have already happened and second, is there anyway to prevent it from futher bleeding? Keeping in mind it is 80% spandex and 20% nylon. Thank you!

The Clorox Bleach Pen works great for stuff like that. I don't know how you can prevent it from happening again since you don't normally put bathing suits in the dryer (otherwise I'd recommend those color catcher sheets) on the upside, after it's been washed a few times it won't bleed anymore.
