Buy seedless watermelon seeds. Plant it in soil. Spread a little compost over it. Water it regularly and it should grow.

Certainly. Some advice...

All melons are subject to splitting. Some seedless watermellon are thiner shells thus more likely to cracking. So you need to control this.

The best way is to control the water! You can do this in a couple ways. First, melons do well planted under plastic mulch.

This is just a plastic to spread over the ground and tuck in well around the row. It will help keep moisture in and moisture out. Keeping moisture in reduces how often you need to water. Keeping moisture out means you need to water.

So #2 melons should be on drip or trickle irrigation. You can buy this as a drip kit at Walmart or it could be as simple as a trickle hose under the plastic. The idea is that you want to water a little everyday.

#3 if you can, melons do vey well under a hoop. This means (for a home gardner) bowing some PVC in an arch over the plants and then putting clear plastic over. Be sure to montor the temp, because although they will grow very well in the warmer temps you are making, there is such a thing as to hot!

Good luck!
