I write music that will best deliver the emotions and moods I'm trying to convey. For a while, this meant that I was writing very free-form pieces of music averaging about 10 minutes in length, using some of the conventions of Progressive and Post Rock. I've been writing a lot more 80s Punk-influenced material, but everything I write these days for guitar tends to have a Progressive bent. Except for the Alt. Rock and Jam Rock patterns I've written for a garage band I play in. When writing for piano, I often incorporate far different influences. I've written a straight Jazz number for a five-piece combo where I play piano, as well as a solo piano piece in Classical style (a Minimalist/Impressionsit blend). Really, whatever I'm feeling dictates how it comes out.

punk because the lyrics are all about making fun of yourself others and current events it's not really that hard to write a punk song just think of a catchy melody or guitar riff and let the insults flow

When I wrote my own music, I never limited my self with one type of music!!! Cause music is "something" that unlimited and the limit just youre imagination,skills,creativity.
Just make music that you want to!!! dont be limited by one Genre,Type, or Style!!!

You've got the WORST taste in music and would have the WORST taste in entertainment if you liked talentless reality shows! Listen to good music like ICP!
