It sounds as if you are experiencing some Braxton Hicks. As long as your pains do not worsen or are timeable ... and you are not spotting or bleeding you should be alright. But if they do get worse and are regular and you experience any spotting or bleeding - then you need to see your dr right away or go to your ER to be checked out.
I had Braxon Hicks horribly when I was pregnant with my youngest daughter ... I found that using a heating pad for about 10 minutes helped me out. Hope you feel better soon!

It does sound like Braxton Hicks. And before you walk on out of the office I would call your doctor. It doesn't sound like too bad of pain, yet. Call the doctor and see what they say. Also, explain to the doctor's office your situation and see if the doctor feels this is urgent. If they tell you to come in immediately, then call your boss and tell them that it is now an urgent situation and if you are forced to stay there something could happen to the baby, and they would be legally responsible. But please do make sure it is urgent! You don't want to cross that line one too many times. Don't push your employers too far with this however, I am aware you are uncomfortable, but you still have 4 months to go with the pregnancy. Don't use up all your sick time at once!

Girl your baby and you are more important then the Job does your boss have kids?? if not then that is why she is not letting you leave that is crazy you need to go the HOSPITAL right away This may be nothing and maybe something serious. You need checked.. You will know in your heart what you should do and that is it. Go with your gut if it is telling you so then leave!!!! Call your boss and tell her you are leaving now and that if she wants someone there she needs to come in and if she Fires you SEW her butt off.. And you don't need to drive you need to have your partner come and get you or someone to take you to the closest HOSPITAL!!

Call your doctor from work. If he/she says you need to go to the hospital, call an ambulance. This way your boss will know that it was a TRUE emergency, and should have no reason to complain. It might even make your boss feel guilty, because your boss could always cover for you if they had to.

Let your boss know that he/she will be responsible if anything happens to your baby!
Call your Dr..(probably help) make your Dr aware of the situation, the Dr probably could talk to your your boss by letting him/she know if anything happens to the baby they will be responsible and have a law suit slapped across their azz.
In fact, I'll leave and go straight to the er. I'll contact the labor law in your state if it comes down to you losing your job. Consult with an attorney..
This could be nothing more than braxton hicks..Take some Tylenol, & drink plenty of water. Just be sure you aren't spotting & having some unusal discharge. But again..you never know

Go to the doctor! Have the doc write you a note for your boss if there is any problem. Sounds like your boss is a bit of a jerk. But, you really need to go get that checked out asap.

I would call my OB doctor and see what they say. I'm sure they would tell you to go to the hospital. You could be in preterm labor. If your doctor says to go, then GO. Tell your boss if they want coverage in the office, come cover it themself. Your baby's health may be at risk, as well as your own. This is not a laughing matter.

Wait till you get off work and go to the emergency room. I personally would walk out because my health and baby is more important. Now unless you are not married and supporting yourself then just wait till you get off work. Or call your boss back and tell it is an emergency and she needs to bring her butt in. Goodness managers can work too.
