Most of the times, the problem is that we are using products containing mineral oil and alcohol and fragrances these all are very damaging for our skin's health.... mineral oil because it is an ingredient that is derivated form petroleum....it will be like using car oil and exposing your self to the sun in fact it is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin (1st thing will be the sun) using fragrances or chemicals or dyes are known irritants and can cause allergic reactions. what i use to shave my legs would be a face wash formulatted without these i have told you about ... it is called Nutrimin-C RE9 Face wash: look for it at the left margin under anti-aging.... I know it is a face wash but honestly it is great and leaves your skin smooth and shinny.... and after that you can put their body lotion fast without waiting for it will not give you a reaction or sting.... that is why i use botanically based products which is way much better because they get absorbed and the nutrients inside the products is what helps our skin look and feel healthy... check it out it is called ARBONNE and i buy them online at: http://arbonnepuertorico.myarb... under shop online.... they are not sold in stores but it is a great way to buy becasue they have this money back guarantee if for some reason there is something you do not like form the products you get your money back guarantee (within 45 days from purchase) so you have nothing to loose....

If you must shave: 1. Make sure the razor is sharp. 2. Exfoliate gently first (yes really!) 3. Make sure you use a decent shave gel/foam. 4. Go with the direction of hair growth, not against it. 5. Make sure the water is not too hot or too cold. 6. Go for cotton knickers after - nylon ones will increase sweating (eugh, I know, bit gross!) Even if you do all the above, you might still get a rash, plus regrowth which you would have to re-shave every day. not good for keeping rashes at bay! Consider Nair hair removal cream - it's quite cheap for a couple of sachets (around £2), and you can use it on delicate areas of skin, and it'll keep re-growth at bay for longer than 1 day. You put it on, leave for 15mins, then wash off in the shower. Have a great holiday x

First do an all over trim with some scissors, then shave your bikini line - after that, try putting clear deodorant on where you shaved and you won't get a rash. I know it sounds crazy but I swear it works! My best friend told me about this a month ago and when I tried it worked like a charm!

I use a special shaver that I bought on line, it's called a bikini shaver. I shave it close but not all the way so I don't get the darned rash. It's the most wonderful thing in the world. I couldn't live without it.

Apart from the few stupid answers, there are a few good points made.

I tend to use a battery powered shaver rather than a razor. You dont get the rash problem then. I also put some fragrance free moisturiser on afterwards which helps.

laser hair removal or waxing
laser hair removal is kidna expensive so u should wax them. whether u get just a bikini wax or a full on brazilian[i get this one done] is up to u.
either way when u wax the hair takes longer to grow out because u are pulling it from the root instead of just the surface with shaving.
the hair also grows back thinner.
The pain is not all that bad. Ppl wouldn't do it if it was unbearable

I shave every day using a Reminton Electric razor and talcum powder. Never have a problem with rash or razor burn (this is on face, pubes, and underarms)

Buy a hair trimmer with a 3,6,9,12 or 15mm guard and just trim the excess length off them.. that is like pruning an unruly hedge. you can them wax the edges to make it a nice shape if you feel like doing it. But please don't remove them altogether some people like to have directions in the dark!!

Make them into an amusing topiary figure of a man on a horse. It'll be quite a conversion piece!

Have you considered fashioning them into dreads? That's what I've done. Sometimes I draw a little face on my willy and pretend it's Bob Marley. I wiggle naked about singing no woman, no cry. It's an awsome sight.
