Beta is a pre release before the finished product. A company can release a beta version so that the users can try out the software, find bugs, and report it back to the company for fixing. Then, when all bugs and errors are solved they release the finish product, which will work, hopefully as it should do.

Beta means that the software is still in a testing phase and may not work in the same way the final product will. Some companies have public beta tests where anyone can download their software and use it, and then return feedback to the company in order for them to make the final changes before release, while some beta tests are private and only available to those asked to join.

As software is developed, test versions of the program as often released so that "real people" can play around with them and hopefully find bugs, make suggestions, etc. to help the programmers inprove the program before its finally release. As something that is "Alpha" is the best, a "Beta" is a "second best" or "almost there". So software that is "almost there" - not quite ready for final release - is called a beta version.

I propose you take advantage of gmail, i'm sorry yahoo individuals, I loved utilising yahoomail, in spite of the indisputable fact that, for company's sake, I favor gmail and its ease of use. i'm no longer positive about hotmail as i have dropped my hotmail account a lengthy time period in the past, and that i do not pick to perceive myself as an MSN'er. Yahoomail beta is extremely good, in spite of the indisputable fact that, once you're utilising dial-up, it should be a bugger because it takes too lengthy to load a web page; I' went decrease back utilising the former yahoo mail and were given contented with it. yet regardless of this, in case you pick some on-line storage, bypass gmail! it were given 2.7 GiB of Diskspace adverse to yahoo's a million.0 GB... Yeah, I forgot to assert, do not Hotmail, as hotmail deletes your inactive account each and each month.
