The three things I've read, Materazzi said he was dirty terrorist, that his mother was a dirty hoe, or that he should play for his own country. (Zidane holds dual citizenship with France and Algeria. Before 1994, he tried to play for Algeria, but coach told him he wasn't fast enough).
Materazzi has denied the terroist thing. He admits to insulting Zidane and while he won't say what he said, he says it's a very common, and by implication, mundane, insult.
"It was one of those insults you're told tens of times and that always fly around the pitch," Materazzi said.
Materazzi also said "For me, the mother is sacred, you know that."
Zidane's brother has said his brother hasn't told him exactly, but it either has to do with ethnicity or family.
Zidane told his agent that it was very serious. Obviously. I mean I hope so. His agaent said Zidane would be speaking about it in a couple of days.
Zidane hasn't said anything, it was a anti-racism group in France that started the "dirty terrorist" theory.

Materazzi spoke to Zidane in Italian.
Which Zidane understand becos he played for Juventus !
So Zidane does understand !!!!
Anyway Fifa is looking into this matter.
If it was totally a Zidane issue, why will they look into it.
And that Materazzi guy also admits that he DID INSULT Zidane.
But he claims that it was nothing usual. It was said 10 times in on the pitch and no one cares. But he didn't say exactly what it was.
So the question is, WHY? Why he didn't explain himself?
Lamer..

According to a friend of mine...and ESPN's Sportscenter.....Zinedine Zidane claims that the Italian player called him a "dirty terrorist". However, the Italian player totally denies ever saying anything like that.

Because he's a stupid idiot who decided to go out like that. I don't think that he said anything. News flash!!!! How could did Zidane understand him if he speaks french! So I think that Zidane lost his temper.
