also look into baby depot located at burlington coat factory and pottery barn kids is good as well. I too had the problem with JC Penney for my wedding and I did not return there for a baby registry.

Register at both - I went with Babies R Us because their selection is great, but Target has a lot of good items, too. Register in as many places as you want. I believe that Sears has a baby registry too. No reason why you have to stick with just one.

Both of those are fine. I did the same thing...register at two places for those people who don't live near a Babies R' Us...they can go to Target. :)

those are both good places (Target & Baby's-R-Us), they are where I normally shop for baby stuff. Also you can go to amazon.com & set up a registry from all the stores & people can log on & buy directly online or they can print out the list & go to the store, that way you can still get something you like from a store that might not be near you.

Is there a Burlington Coat Factory near you? Lots of them have a Baby World or Baby Depot with a registry and they are reasonably priced. Good luck on the arrival of the New One!!!

Yup both of those are the best. I did mine at Babies r us but most of my friends did both. Funny thing is each time I ended up gonig to Target I LOVE Their stuff there. Your guest will appreciate the option.

if you do babies r us, then people from anywhere can access it (they can look at it and even order online) - if you do both target and babies r us, it gives people more options - I would say do both of those. I was going to recommend babies r us, but you are already looking at that - it is the big one that most people use - good luck!

I used Babies R Us and Target. Some of my friends have used Wal-Mart as well. I've had no issues with any of these places.

Do several of them. This way what someone can't afford at one place, they may be able to afford at another. Also do different items in different places, and don't pick all expensive items, include things like diapers, bags, etc. =) Congratulations!
