What is better the Xbox 360 or the Ps3(from what you have heard?)?

as of now, the Xbox 360 is better becuase you could buy it right now. The PS3 and the Xbox 360 are very similar consoles both with awsome graphix and depending on the games you wanna play is what system you would wanna buy. PS3 has the hole Gran Turismo and Metal Gear Solid series comming out only for that system, where as Xbox 360 has games like Halo 3 comming out. As for Grand Theft Auto games, they are realeasing them for both consoles at the same time.

The PS3 is comming with some blue laser thing where it reads these "high def" DVD's that aren't out yet so that you get an extra chrystal clear picture when you wanna watch movies, which Xbox 360 doesn't have.. but... they are gonna come out with something similar, which reads a slightly different format of DVD which should be "high def" material. but they both play regular DVDs.

As for me.. I'm sticking with the 360 becuase I just think the games are better and I can't wait for Halo 3. I'm big on Multiplayer games.

I currently own an XBOX360 and am planning on buying a PS3 as well. Since I work at Gamestop, I come across this question a lot. The easiest thing for me to tell you is that the 360 is $400 and the ps3 is going to e $600. If you are looking for just one system, you need to decide a couple things, do you want to shell out the $600 and what kinds of games do you like. Sony is known for games such as Guitar Hero, Kingdom Hearts, Socom, etc... while Microsoft is known for big hits such as Halo. If youre wanting to know which one is "better" I would say that's completely a personal preference, as I think the graphics are going to be very similiar.
