I work for an Iranian & I am fed up of him & his friends talking in their own language, when clearly it is about others in the office

If you are near London, then get in touch with SOAS (the School of Oriental and African Languages) at London University - it's in Bloomsbury, just by Russell Square. If they *don't* run a Persian course I'd be very surprised (they do everything else).

I got a "teach yourself" book, but decided that it really needed a tape or something, cos it's quite hard. I'd rather find an evening class myself, but SOAS is too far to go for that.
