We are planning a trip to Waikiki in the fall, and want to enjoy the sushi there, but at a reasonable price. Any advice is appreciated.

what do you consider "reasonable priced"? You get what you pay for.
Genki Sushi is fast food sushi. I would recommand Wasabi Bristro or Yanagi. Although I'm not sure if those restaurants fits your budget.

Go to Genki Sushi. I'm not sure where it's located, but I think it's about a mile from Ala Moana Center. Their sushi is fantastic; I bring back a platter every time I go to Oahu.
