I have seen this question posted before and so far, nothing. Not on E-bay, Amazon, Ilibris, etc. If anyone has found it, even if it is a download, please let me know where!!!!

I searched WorldCat and Booksinprint. On Worldcat I learned there is one library with a recording of it made by a society that reads for the blind. And on Booksinprint, I learned that the only "audio" available for Catcher in the Rye were cassette study guides.

A recent article said that it hadn't been made into an audio book.

I almost gave up on this, and have been looking for a long time (because I'm an avid aduiobook listener). Here's what I found:

I looked all over, including the LOC -- there are two links below but I don't believe they're full recordings. There may be no audiobooks of _Catcher_ because of the copyright, but I'm not sure. Regardless, I am not sure a full version exists.

Wow, no, I haven't, but I forgot all about reading that book. It was an awesome book! Your making me wanna look for the audio version now.
