i am doing a project and I would like to know if alot of people own houses are rent apartment to live?I would like to know what people their like to do for fun?What are the vaule system in China?

Hi there!
I spent 3 months in Taiwan, and a few weeks in Hong Kong/Kowloon, and had an opportunity to enter a small area of the Chinese mainland. It was a wonderful experience, and one I'd love to repeat!
In most areas of Asia, specifically the cities, most unmarried men and women choose to rent apartments, or become roommates, to save money, assist one another with work and cleaning, and usually one purchases a house once they've gotten married or had children as a symbol of permanence.
For fun, bowling and karaoke are high on the list, as well as dance clubs and movie houses. Many spots have special rooms for karaoke, for small groups to enjoy singing and drinking and eating without a large crowd. Bowling is a fun pasttime that typically is seen as a young adult and youth activity, but many business men/women will partake of this pasttime for business purposes.
The value system in Asia differs from region to region. In many larger cities, women are still of a slightly lesser value than men, but are able to make their own way with less resistance than in rural country areas, where women are expected to be the homemakers, caretakers, and childbearers.
China and Taiwan, kissing cousins of countries, have a vast and varied culture which brings forth the best of their history and shows us the potential of their future.

My dad lived their for two years after graduated high school. he told me that the place where he lived many people barely had enough money to get by. the rats were so bad that at night they would actually come up threw the toilet and one time ate a newborn baby.
he never told me if there where homeless people so im guessing pretty much everybody had somewhere to go.
