Hi there,
I dont understand why any blast in India is related to Pakistan ,We ourselves are affected by terrorism ,Its history that leads you to think that it is Pakistan who does this .
I am from Karachi,Pakistan .India is our neighbouring country and Mumbai is its financial hub , just like Karachi is for Pakistan .I myself live in such a city which is violent and is always attacked ,Our last blast was in june in !2 Rabi-ul-awaal ,at Nashtar park ,I can understand the grief of Mumbaites and I share the same feeling of sorrow over the innocent loss of lives.
Those co-ordinated blasts occured to stop Mumbai s activities ,i think , because its a commercial hub for India .There could be any organization behind it and many people think them to be Muslims and from foreign area , especially from Pakistan .
Its not true always .Those who spread terror do not think of their religion and how badly they are affecting many people directly or indirectly.
When i saw this tragic news on tv , i really felt for the people ,who had no reason to be victims of such an act .My heartfelt condolence...
Sure ,Mumbai will get over it ,and life will be again the same , but for those who are involved in this incident and are affected , i wonder how would they recover .
May God bless All
regards,
Sidra

P.S: Rajat D , i hope you are sensible Indian , if any blast happens in Karachi ,Pakistan , i never blame India .Because it could be local bodies who do not well wish for their own country .As for Mumbai blast , i dont say that Pakistan cannot be counted ,but It could be any local organization too ,Have you forgotten your very Lovely SHIV SENA who will come to power again now
?.
It could be anyone ..it was upto Indian intelligence and police to find out .But Indian and Pakistani police is always late ...

Some un wanted human ****!
Is that it! Is this what they say Jehad is all about! Or is this how they fight for freedom!
Such disgraceful act of cowardliness is a part of a freedom fight or a holy war! What everyone in Mumbai is doing right now is a freedom fight! Freedom from evil and that is Jehad! And it is being fought by every man and woman of every religion.
Pakistan is falling in a hole it dig up for it self. they are traped in a cricle they can never get out of. Pakistan should be declared a terrorist state with immediate effect.

The types of devastations that Mumbai witnessed on 7/11/2006 is just one of the thousands of incidents India has gone through. Though staying in the US we get to see and hear only what the media portrays and as mentioned in http://ia.rediff.com/news/2006/jul/12nri.htm?q=tp&file=.htm , not much we can do about it sitting here; one thing that I have decided is to stop spending any of my money at any Pakistani restaurant/store which would potentially aid the ruthless acts. May be my I am very critical in my comments and I am not sure how helpful my resolution would be for the cause I have in mind; but I shall certainly not be the NRI who thinks "There is nothing I can do, and it hurts"

Security forces to probe link between Mumbai, Srinagar attacks

New Delhi, July 12 (PTI): Security agencies were on Tuesday night investigating as to who were behind the deadly blasts in Mumbai and whether there was any link with the grenade attacks in Srinagar earlier in the day.

# Mumbai Suburban Train Blasts

As for the five grenade blasts in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir police claimed that Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba militant outfit was behind the strikes that left eight people dead.

Till late Tuesday night, no one claimed responsibility for the blasts in suburban trains in Mumbai. The security agencies are said to have some leads but were unwilling to disclose any pointers.

A caller, who gave his name as Abdulla Raznavi, claiming to be a spokesman for LeT, telephoned PTI office in Mumbai Tuesday night to say that the outfit was not involved in the blasts in India's financial capital and that it condemned the attacks.

"We deeply condemn the blasts in Mumbai and strongly deny any involvement of LeT," he said.

Um, the killing of M. Gandhi was buy a Hindu with no ties to terrorist groups, I. Gandhi by a sikh with no ties to terrorist groups and R. Gandhi by the Sri Lanka Tigers (LTTE) who expressed regret for the incident and promise never to attack India again...so you're mistaken for saying the Gandhi's were killed by Indian terrorist groups...It was definitely Pakistan who did the bombings, you'd be hard pressed to find an Indian terrorist group.

It may not have been Pakistan.....terrorist acts like today have a deep history in India...look at Ghandi's assassination and other leaders of that country...they have domestic terrorists in that country.
