hi I'm Scottish living in Scotland and have lived in England too ,i think the Scottish people just think its unjust the way England rules over them . The poll tax was first introduced in Scotland .When its our kids summer holidays we don't get holiday progs for the kids till the English schools stop two weeks after we finish for holidays. If a Scottish person wins something its a British victory but if an English guy wins something its an English victory. The good government legislation is introduced in England first ,like better school meals. the list goes on. that's why

For those of you who don't already know this, not ALL Scottish people dislike the English. It surprises me that people don't see the influence the media has on myths like these. Yes i am sure there are some Scottish people that don't like the English, just like there are English people that don't like the Scottish, but come on, the media blow these things out of proportion. You only have to see the latest stunt by the BBC to know that.

I don't think that the Scots and English hate each other - it is just the odd ignorant xenophobic person who seems to get pleasure from running down people, countries or customs they know nothing about.

Well, England is the most prosperous part of the UK, especially the south and London. There are good jobs and oppurtunities there.

Money is always a good reason.

you only pick to satisfy some astounding English human beings and make some acquaintances. in case you do not attain out and stay in a bubble interacting only with different immigrants then your standpoint is going to be skewed. & no, i'm no longer English.
