It hasn't, but I agree with perfect american that the NAACP, like any organization whose sole grounds for membership is race is inherently racist. Has anybody ever seen the Trapper Keeper South Park episode where Jesse Jackson comes in and demands that the black vote not be misrepresented? To me, this epitomizes the function of the NAACP: to play the race card and bully law-abiding, non-racist Americans into accepting such discriminatory practices as quotas and affirmative action. All this does is perpetuate the cycle of racism and discrimination.
Yes, blacks were treated very unfairly in the past. And yes, this is a lot of history for them to overcome. But simply handing people jobs that they haven't earned is no way to go about emancipating them, regardless of their race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or anything else. What I'm trying to say is that the NAACP's stated goal of doing away with discrimination against blacks is a very noble one. But their perceived methods of doing so, by discriminating against everyone else, don't do anything to really, truly better the situation.

Do you perceive every group of people assembled on the basis of race as racist? I would say no. Sure, there are a lot of people who rely on "white guilt" to live a successful life. Racism in America is prevalent!!! I would say rock on NAACP!!! Oh and it's for colored people, not only black people! Grow up and realize that such groups have made a positive difference in America, just because you feel excluded you label such a thing as racist. You make me laugh!!! NAACP forever! LOL

They continue to promote racism, and unequality under the guise of advancing a particular race.
