There are some programs you can download that will do it for you after you configure them. Or, you can go into your control panel and set the access of those pages to require a password. Go to user accounts and setup a master account, and on that account or another one, make a password to get into porn sites.

Depends on what exactly you're talking about-
To remove popups and such, I'd suggest investing in Web Root Spy Sweeper. It removes that kind of spyware as well as more harmful types. It's available at many retail stores or on their website: http://www.webroot.com/
To block access to adult websites, you might look into something like Netnanny, for which any user on your machine would be blocked unless they have permission - http://www.netnanny.com/
Hope this helps

are you trying to stop someone from going to a website or are you talking about spam you're getting in your e-mail? a Firewall can help if it's a website, a good SPAM filter (Mailfrontier works well) will take care of the e-mail, if it's to keep kids from seeing it you should setup user accounts for them...

Get the free SiteHound toolbar. It will alert you if you are surfing to a porno site and you can also password protect adult sites if you are trying to keep children away.
