THE DAVE CLARK 5 's GREATEST HITS on EPIC RECORDS. It had 10 tracks. And it was the 1st time I saw the actual vinyl record wrapped in a perforated plastic bag . You ripped the perforation at the top.to open it . Most albums had a paper envelope . CBS did this for a while
I still have this "MONO " album .

The first Record that ''I'' bought was Bowies ''Life on Mars'' coz they were sold out of ''Snoopy and the Red Baron'' LOL (only joking) My wifes first record was Kate Bush's ''Wuthering Heights''. And we're 45 lol

if you are really 50 years old, i'm sure you would have better things to do that ask people what their first 'record' was they bought.
therefore you are probably not 50 years old and more likely to be some silly chick who got into her moms or dads record collection.

I'm 18 and the first casette tape i remember buying was 'Barbie Gril' by Aqua when i was about 8 or 9 i think. I then bought 'Dr Jones' by Aqua the next week! lol
