Yes it hurts when we are cheated .... that's how the portuguese felt int he game with France .... Thye'r not only cry babies , their also cheaters !!!! The last 2 goals where by penaltys , against Portugal and Italy

look. I'm french. I'm not crying. I actually think it was an interesting game, and I'm glad that Italy won. Someone has to win.
I didn't see anybody crying here in France, except for a few morons, presumably soccer fans. But not all french are soccer fans. We just watched the finals, that's it.
And andy H2, you are a living cliché. " the only decent part of the french army is the foreign legion!", red wine and cheese. Dude, you don't even know that american red wine can frequently be better than a french !
I am French, I love good wine, wether it comes from Chile, Napa Valley or Burgundy. And I have been travelling a lot on this planet, which is probably not your case. I know how an idiot looks like, and yes, you're on the list.

Why being so provocative? I propose what's the point? Italy received, they were given the international cup and that i wager they relish giving France a touch difficult time after being eradicated from the international cup in 1998 and loosing at Euro very last in 2000. nicely that's trustworthy as at those situations we gave them a difficult time, mocking them... yet we've got those individuals that are neither Italian, nor French and who're insulting in route of France and French human beings. Why a lot hatred? that is ridiculous and lead nowhere... First because there is no longer a range of of French human beings studying Yahoo Q/A US, 2d because those like me are literally not indignant in any respect and in basic terms imagine you're stupid and that it supplies a great undesirable image of your u . s . a ..

There is always a winner but unfortunately there always has to be a loser. This time it was France. I am happy that Italy won but I feel for France's loss. Italy has been there many times in the past. Now it was just their turn to win.

because french people have no 'backbone' no 'spine' !
they are more used to waving a white flag than their own flag!
they shouldn't cry though,they should be used to losing and surrendering.
i don't like muslims or arabs in particular and don't agree with what zidane did...but these 'minorities' in france are the only people in france with any 'balls',so at least admire them for that!

Do you know what TV is? You could watch the french a little. They didn't cry at all. They said they played a better game, but lost it unfairly. They're happy with their team and their play. Tons of people welcomed les Bleus filled of joy. So, are they crying? No, the ones who keep crapping about that oh-he-could-kill-him headbutt are annoying cry babies.

Because it's the World Cup and they made it all the way to the final game. I am glad Italy won, but I can understand why people are upset. Soccer/Football is the most popular game in the world. All the Italy fans gloating and carrying on only makes us Bad Sports and Bad Winners.

lol that's to funny cause the french they're just like yeah whatever this isn't a great victory Italy cheated blah blah blah. if they had won they would be rubbing it in everyone's faces. the Italians are barely posting anything, just a whole bunch of crap about how Materazzi said some racial comment about him. Zidane didn't tell anyone what Materazzi said but that it was personal.so the french cant claim anything.

Because they lost. If the Italians would have lost you would have seen some real crying. If the Brits or the Irish would have gotten that far they would have been crying and beating each other over the head with beer bottles.

LOL. Good job Tony. I think I know who you were rooting for.
But it is stupid. If Zidanne had stayed in for the penalty kicks, the France team probably would've still kept the guy who missed in, and therefore the whole point is moot.
The fact that they say the Italian player cheated doesn't make sense, because he didn't do anything illegal. He got in Z's head, which is perfectly fine, and it worked obviously.
