Chanel 5 in the UK could make a second series of Celebrity Enema and show it worldwide (This is not a joke. The programme really did exist).
Each county could submit one of their home grown stars and everyone can vote for their favourite.
Possible candidates:
USA: The Hoff or Chuck Norris
England: Abi Titmuss or Stephen Hawking

Well, we have the local competitions (like the Copa Libertadores for South America), then the Olympics (Last time Argentina won the gold for men's football, and several of the WC players, like Carlos Tevez, were on that team.), and a looooooooooong four years from now, the 2010 WC. None will be as big, obviously, but it's something.

No not as great as the world cup it is speshil and this year was in the best country in the world but there are some nine socer in euro 2008 and stuff like that!

Ummmm i'd have to say World Cup 2010 is gonna be the next event that big. or maybe euro 2008 or possibly the summer olympics... but i doubt it...

The next would be in about one year and a half which would be the European Cup.....just as exciting!!!!!! But I don't think there is anything bigger than The world Cup!!!! We will have to wait another 4 years!!!!!
