I caught a tv programme on Fox(I think) 2nights back about driving and using a hand held cell phone at the same time.
I figured the results were baloney. In 1 working day their researchers(5) ID.5000 citizens breaking Federal law in one state alone(Washington), it then stated that of these 5,000 lawbreakers 4,442 were females and that most of them were of an age where they should know better and it would be a lot safer for the rest of us if these Seniors stayed at home and maybe hand knitted their grandchildren a sweater and muffler for the coming Fall.
I got so mad that I phoned the cable company and cancelled my account.

Do you think it's fair to blame us women drivers for everything???? Give me a break.

ps. I do not have a cell phone. (would'nt know how to use one).

Madam - it was widely suspected, and since scientifically proved, that the female brain cannot cope with the mechanics of a self propelled horseless carriage, what with all the 3D movement and speed calculations overloading an already compromised brain structure - not to mention the physical forces involved. No - the female is good at multitask, granted, but that is mostly confined to household chores, and most other activities that do not include rapid calculations for their brain to try and process.

Having them drive is quite bad enough, but using a cell phone and attending to their face paint in the rear view mirror all at the same time, is quite suicidal.

Stick to homely tasks my dear, and try not to worry your pretty head over such complex matters. If you're not born from the lesbian mould, try asking your boyfriend, lover or husband to place the question for you. I trust his grasp of English may at least be a degree above your naive, stumbling offering to the Yahoo community.

yeah those results seem a little bogus to me. the only way that number could be right is if there was a mostly female population in that state. like 80% female and 20% male. i see equal amounts of males and females driving and talking on their cell phones. they are always "reporting" studies on tv and in the newspapers whose results are not right.
