My best friend goes to look for old jewelry. She cuts it apart, looks for other beads to update the look, and makes something new. She showed me one, and it looked just like one I saw at the fancy deparment store. She looks for collectibles, too. She came home with a bunch of pressed glass creamers and sugars she got for cheap, and she scouts for blue carnival and cobalt glass.
My other friend scouts for things to remodel her house with, and she says she loves to drive down the street and the alleys near her house. She has found some neat stuff that people were throwing away, like a pair of folded doors, she sanded and stained them, they are the door to her bedroom. Some one else told me they got a chandelier that someone had pitched. I live in the wrong neighborhood. All I ever see are old chairs and sofas that are so broke down.
She found me a set of craft books from the 60's, 17 volumes. I loaned them to a friend so she could get the knitting and crochet patterns. Cost me 5bucks.Took me days to look through them all.

I love flea markets! Last time I went to one I bought an antique Bulova watch. I didn't know it at the time, just liked the watch. But after having a watch repairman examine it, it turned out to be made in 1924, the year Bulova first started making Ladies watches. Always wondered what it would be worth, especially since it is 14K white gold. The repair guy didn't know. It is the old wind-up style and it still keeps great time. So I guess my answer is an antique watch with a lot of history! Pretty cool, huh? ;-)

I love flea markets. I buy anything and everything that I want, need and can afford. And it is also fun to just look. But buying is the best. And sometimes they have really good food too.

I love going to the flea market and looking at everything. I always get some kind of snack food. I look for perfume bottles. The t-shirts are always fun to read, too.

I don't go to flea markets I think they are just like yard sales and don't like walking around looking at other peoples junk. Anyway I am trying to send you some information and your email address has not been confirmed email me at candtce@yahoo.com so I can send the information about the online work.

Some times you find children's books and even paper back books, too. Heck, you might find one for you. You could also buy
a dining table and chiars, or other furniture, depending the the present condition of it. Look around. You don't have to buy anything, but feel free to, if you see something you need or want.

I like to buy local artwork. None of that already done crap that's been sitting in the attic for years. I like the canvas paintings or a really good photograph of the area.

I would look for an antique writing slope/box (especially one with secret panels/compartments) so I could feel special when I wrote to my friends. If I could find sealing wax, too, that would be fun.
