Wondering if anyone has tried these foundations and what you think of them:
Maybelline Pure liquid foundation
Neutrogena Mineral Sheers powder foundation
the new L'Oreal mineral powder foundation
I'm teaching a makeup class this fall, and want to give people options from the drugstore, so if any of these are too horrible for me to bother testing, let me know!

Thanks to those giving useful information. No sales pitches though! I'm not looking for a foundation myself...I'm very satisfied with what I use, so please stick to reviews only.

Maybelline is pretty decent, but does not stay on oily skins. Neutrogena Mineral does not provide that much coverage and as the name says it is very sheer. Loreal is not bad, but it is not the purest mineral that I have tried. FYI, I have tried majority of the mineral foundations: Youngblood, Jane Iredale, Everyday Minerals, Glo Minerals, Bare Escentuals, Philosophy, Physician Formula, and many more. The purest one is Everyday Minerals at everydayminerals.com. These do not cause any irritation or itching as others, because they do not contain any bismuth. Contact the company and they can send you samples for free.

I do like it. i have not tried the powder because powder doesn't look organic on me. This foundation does no longer have a lot lasting skill, yet as adverse to Revlon Colorstay (which lasts continually), this foundation doesn't damage me out. This also has sheer to medium insurance. i doesn't note it with my palms. make investments in an effective brush (consisting of a foundation brush from Sonia Kashuk, it truly is bought at objective). also get the translucent mineral powder and purchase a powder brush for that. in case you save round, you're waiting to locate the liquid foundation and a minimum of between the powders in a set.

Hey I can't help you with this questio but you responded to my Bare Minerals question earlier today. Could you let me know how it goes when you test out the Bare Minerals for yourself tomorrow? Also, could you get an estimate on how much you'd have to spend to get going with the product? I know there are all kinds of "buffs" and "viels" but I think I'll just need the basic stuff. I'll leave the post up so you can respond if you get a chance. Thanks so much.

Hi, First...google "rendering plants" to find out what is in OTC makeups and lotions to find out what goes into these products. Than visit www.wonderful.myarbonne.com to check out their pure, safe and beneficial products. They have no animal by-products and are never tested on animals. They are herbal and botanical based. Their products do what they say they are going to do. They have a complete skin care system for every age group and a complete line of makeup.

Never tried the liquied one, but the mineral ones i don't like. They are a imitation of bare minerals. I find not a very good one at that. But thats just my opinion.
