You ask people if they believe in alien civilizations and they say "not a chance" without thinking that WE are someone else's alien civilization. If no one else exists out, then we don't exist either!

By proof I mean if there were no extraterrestrial life in the universe, we wouldn't exist either would we? But since we exist, we must :say: that yeah..there is life in the universe.

So...

Since we "know" life exists in the universe(us), we all HAVE to believe in the existance of extraterrestrials.

WE are the extraterrestrial life I speak of.

I think there is something else out there. It's a possibility. I've never seen any proof but I haven't seen anything to disprove it either. Some people aren't very open minded. They have to see it to believe it.

Maybe it's the phrasing. Like, take the idea of angels. A lot of people say they believe in angels, but if you asked them if they believe in extraterrestrial spirit beings who come to earth to interact with humans, they'd say, no way (even though that's what angels are.)

While we're on the topic, I'm not disagreeing with you, but your point isn't valid. It's possible to be the only civilization in the universe. How do you know that we are an alien civilization for some other group unless you have proof of the other group? Most people are skeptical of the rather sketchy proof that has been presented, and your point doesn't prove alien existence, either. I'm sure you believe that aliens exist, and I'm not saying that it isn't true, but your point is invalid. Logical doesn't necessarily mean true. So you might want to rethink your question a bit, just for future reference.

Some people need proof. If there wasn't proof the earth was round, they'd still believe it was flat.

You are right. We were seeded by aliens. We are hybrids of various alien races and the native population through genetic engineering. With their technology these ETs were looked upon as "gods." Thus, we have being "created in god's image," as well as the "missing link."

I think they're in denial. They're afraid we might not be #1. I think with all the billions of stars, there must be millions of planets that must orbit those stars, and at least thousands of planets that must be able to support life. That means chances are pretty good someone else is out there, whether they are highly advanced or still in the slime-mold stage.

you stated "Without thinking that WE are someone else's alien Civilization" Well if they dont believe in aliens there not going to think that, And in my opinion i do not believe in Et's this is mainly because i havnt seen the proof myself and it hasnt been fully proven, So until it is proven i will believe but until then i will be the majority who says "not a chance"

I like your point!

It's so hard to determine what's true and what's not... and also the fact that there may be proof of other life's out there but we just don't know about it... who really knows what we are being told... if it's true or not...

I'd like to think there are others out there besides us. Maybe the after-life is on another "planet" or somewhere else in our galaxy :]

You know, I've yet to figure that out for myself. I mean, how can we possibly think that we are the ONLY living, breathing, intelligent beings in this extremely expansive universe? Just because we can't easily see something doesn't mean it isn't there.

ok your theory is a little askew. IF there is nothing out there in the first place, then WE couldn't possibly be someones alien civilization

It's called denial. Human are an arrogant race, they think that it's only us in the Universe. Isn't that such a lonely thought?
