In my own opinion honesty would be the best policy. You could tell him that while you very falttered that he thinks of you that way you are not gay. Perhpas offer friendship by concluding with...but if you want to be just friends that would be okay. If that's not an option because you truly do not like this guy as a person be honest about that as well. Be gentle enough so that you don't hurt his feelings but firm enough so he gets the point. If all else fails and he's still not getting the hint then you may have to be forcefull with your words and blunt. Refrain fron name calling, insults and put downs. But just telling him that you don't care to go out with him is not a hate crime as long as you don't verbaly or physically attack him. Quite the contrary, if he continues to presue you even after you made it clear that you're not interested it could be considered sexual harrassment on his behalf twords you. I hope this helps and I wish you the very best of luck.

Be very carefull. Are you sure that person is Gay? Have they told you themselves or is that just gossip? It might be that this person just needs a friend and you seem approachable. You don't give us the sex of this child so with girls its easier to scar a boy who could commit suicide if your his only choice. Would you want that for the rest of your life? If you want to strengthen yourself, ask them to join a club together that they like, then don't you go after the first time. Its called letting someone down easy.

Since when is it a crime to tell someone your not interested? Explain your not looking for any new friends and to please give you your space. Most people with accept that and move on. If for some reaosn this person doesnt, contact the police.....there are stalking laws.

Tell him that you are not the least bit interested in going out with him, you are only interested in girls. Let him know that you are really fed up with him asking and that you want him to just stay away from you in the future. I hope this helps.

You don't have to worry about it looking like a hate crime unless you physically harm or kill him. Telling someone no is a right we all should have.

whoa...first off I'm sorry. I think you should just tell him that you are straight and you aren't into men. If he doesn't listen to you, you should consider filing a report. I mean, If a crazy woman was doing it, you would do the same thing.

You have to do it in the same polite manner you would if it were a straight person you were not interested in dating. If you don't think you can do that verbally, write a note.

i had the same problem with this girl in my gym class, only it was worse cuz she would watch me change, and she'd get up on me when we played basketbal...but anyway this isn't about me. i just told her that i wasn't like that and she needed to leave me alone or there would be trouble. she never bothered me again.
