We're actually the original Brits, the ones who managed to cling on whilst the English gave in to the Normans. We are proud of our history and heritage. The English have done a lot to prevent speaking our language (my Mums generation get the cane for speaking Welsh at school!). You obviously haven't heard the singing at the Rugby or missed the celebrations of our recent Grand Slam win! Get to know some Welsh people before you diss us. We have a beautiful country too! The Welsh have been known to put up a good fight too and if all else fails we'll sing at you!!

I am not Welsh, Irish, Scots or English. I have lived all over the UK.
So my answer back to you is simply The English .....Why????? They pillaged raped and murdered. Simply a waste of space and air.

The Welsh have done lots too. Unfortunalty you don't have the choice in 'Why we have them'. You could say that about lots of countries. The Welsh language is much older than the English language.

Oh please. Very well rounded. 'Proud people that have a history... ', please! So are the Welsh, they have just as much history/pride/culture etc etc - and at least they managed to hang on to their language, neither the Scots or the Irish managed to do that. Do some bloody research before making such vacuous comments.

i don't know its not a popular country nothing much happens there i think wales is the safest place to live actually and i like it its pretty all i can say the people i don't like welsh people
