Sometimes when asked what is wrong a woman will answer "Oh nothing". If there is nothing wrong why do things get worse?

"Oh nothing" is an avoidence mechanism. It's easier for a woman to say, "oh nothing" than to have to explain her thinking, becuase there might have been difficulty getting her message across once before.

Solution: When she says "Oh, nothing", tell her, "when you're ready to talk about it, I'm here to listen, and I won't fight." Then listen and don't fight. Let her express herself and leave it at that.

Most women are unable to articulate in a straightforward manner what it is they want to say. When she says "oh nothing" more likely than not it means one of two things:

1. There is something wrong but she is not ready to talk about it just yet.

2. Some women like the attention of someone asking them what is wrong. It can make them feel important, like the other person cares.

It means sit down relax and try to enjoy the Grand Prix, because in a few hours she is going to blow her lid at you. You have obviously done something wrong. The "Oh nothing" is like a volcano giving a sign that it is about to erupt. The same can be said about a woman.

Because "Oh nothing" doesn't mean nothing in that context.
It means "something". Either she's playing games, wanting to make you suffer and get her pound of flesh out of you, or she wants you to pursue the issue--but not in a reasonable way. She wants you to appeal to her emotionally. She wants you to make her feel safe with you before she will talk about it.
Women really are from Venus and Men from Mars when it comes to this stuff.

It means there is a problem and she has already discussed it with you before. I think she is saying you should really know by now what it is if you really are one with her and love her.
Probe further, listen, don't try to solve the issue and if you have a disagreement, go for a drive.. cool off and come back with some flowers.. and maybe a fruit and nut chocolate bar..

because she is a lying to you, If you are inclined to say whats wrong in the first place there is obviously something wrong. girls in way want you to already know what is wrong. we think we drop hints to what it is that is bothering us in hopes that guys will figure out what is wrong without us coming up and saying it to your face. but of course guys don't really have a clue so ask her whats wrong and if she says nothing start to guess and maybe you'll firgure out what is wrong or just keep hounding her.

It means something...we never say "oh nothing" when there is honestly nothing wrong. If that were true, we would not have to tell you nothing was wrong, you would know.

It means she wants you to beg it out of her. Or she wants you to just "know" what's wrong. Whatever the case, don't take an 'oh nothing' and walk away. She wants you to REALLY want to know what's wrong. Girls can be such manipulators... :)
