My husband and I have two boys and at the age of 21 I was diagnosed with ceverical cancer. Instead of risking my life or going through tons of medical treatments we choose to have a hystorectomy so that my boys would not suffer. Now I am 28 and would love to adopt a little girl and my boys want a little sister so badly. We live in Arkansas. Anyone with information please reply but only serious answers please.

Here is some advice. . . Contact some of the girls on here who are asking about abortion, save a life! I wish all of those young girls who ask about abortion would read your question. If they aren't ready to be mothers, then let somebody else who is ready adopt the child. This is a serious problem. I suggest emailing the girls on here who say they arent ready for babies but are pregnant anyway. Think about it. : )

Plenty of adoption agencies can help you for quite a fee. Yes, you can adopt from overseas and that can sometimes be less expensive. An option my husband and I are looking into is foster adoption. My husband was adopted at age 2 1/2. We have a baby girl and want her to have a sibling, but there are so many children waiting for homes, we decided to foster-adopt when she's 2 or 3, a girl near her age or younger. The cost is minimal and the state often provides medical insurance for year. In California and in my county, our cost may be around 3000.-, part of which may be reimbursed for various reasons. And we'll have a sweet little girl that would otherwise bounce around the system for years...good luck!

I do not have any advice at this moment since you were not specific in the advice that you need but I do want to wish your growing family lots of luck.
Ignore that answer below mine. That is just a cruel thing to say. This was actually said to me when i adopted my daughter. I was asked how I could take her from her mother. I didn't take her, the state did with good reason. We took her from the state.

Look into state sponsored adoption. There are plenty of kids right in Arkansas who need a home and it is actually very cost effective too.

I think adoption is great! It is hard but the child you take in and care for is better off with a loving family instead of being bounced around from foster care to foster care. I think it is a awsome idea!

Pick the girl you would want to love the most when you go to adopt.
I can't adopt a real child and it took me forever to choose a cabbage patch kid. :-)

of course ,you should adopt a girl .but you must love her a lot till you live. you should not make difference between your sons and daughter
