Scarsdale NY. At least the way it was 10 years ago - rolling acreage with ancient shade trees, rock walls, big old homes/mansions. And very convenient to NYC, White Plains and the cultures there. I loved it there. Even Mamaroneck NY would be wonderful if I could afford it.

I also loved Cambridge NY when I had small babies and toddlers. You can walk to everything, and it's such a Norman Rockwell's America kind of rural village - stunningly beautiful. Houses are getting expensive there now with NYC people moving there, and there's not much opportunity for work, so... definitely would have to be independently wealthy to live well there I'd say.

BORACAY - an island paradise of luscious beaches and powdery white sands in the Philippines. I can just lay in the sand all day and read and tan... and at night I can have dinner and party on the beach. Heaven!
