It is beginning to change. Blacks used to be stereotyped with certain roles.

There is an epidemic among black men today... a modest percentage are seeking education, and an even more modest percentage will live to see 60.

probably because the movies are made and financed by white people. I, although I'm white, really enjoy foreign films where the bad guy is always a white guy. Chinese movies are great for that. If you see a white guy in the film, no matter how nice they seem. They are the villain.

racism, unfortunately. that is the same reason why black people have to take roles in which they die first. there arent enough roles in which they dont have to die.
