A interesting Question!

I think that it is not possible to answer this question because it is unfair in favour of Kasparov. he had much more knowledgement as Fischer because he learned from many players who came after Fischer, including from Fischers games. Fischer had to learn everything with books. Kasparov could use Computers.

The better Question would be this question:

Would Fischer have won against Kasparov if he would have played in our time and access to the same chess material as Kasparov?

If they played 24 matches (a normal world title), I would expect 20+ draws, but Kasparov would get the one or two extra wins to win the title.
