no guys; the indian culture is very old and linked with thier different religions. once i read in differnt books that indian culture was very old & linked on hinduism & no one found so far when it was started. they enjoy the marriage life taste like go on 'chewing gum' with one single wife. there the womwn is more secured and free of dangerous deseases.
even many gerta leaders like american president has prisewd during his visit.

Assuming you are referring to the dot, not the feather. Just like every other marriage - boring, and you have to sit on the floor forever, then you have to get in line and hand more money to them - not fun. And that "porridge" type stuff they hand out to everyone, that's just nasty stuff.

thats the best way of getting married i am telling u with the religious point of view but they take time and quite big arrangements have to be maid but it will be a life time experience i think u got ur answer
