This 2007 world cup will be so exciting that there are many favorites.
Now a days ODI are turned away so much that who plays well on that day will win. So there is no team that we can say that it can win world cup.
The favourites are :
Australia - Their form is dangerous from a decade
South Africa - Their side has the best gifted all rounders and have good spirit
India - They also have chance of winning it if they get hold in bowling department as all are youngsters (nedd practise)
Sri Lanka - Inspite of their downfall after the series in India, they got into the track and are playing nicely.
NewZealand - One should not underestimate this team as this team has some good bowling attack.
England - This is the team that had come to finals more number of times and not winning the cup. They are in deep trouble as their players often get injuries.
Of all Australia, South Africa and India are having more chance of winning this world cup. I am an Indian and I hope India will win it under the captaincy of " The Great Wall " (of India), Rahul Dravid.

as a Indian i give my full support to India as am quiet confident that India will be able to repeat the past by winning the world cup yet again.
but as i love the game and is a good supporter of it i think the team which plays it spirit of the game,which plays all its game well and above all a team which respects the game of cricket should win it.
at last what do u mean by "ndia" mind u never do it again

NO DOUBT Australia.
Because there is a wast difference in the performance of Australia with other cricket playing country. Australia is much ahead of other.
The main factor lies in the consistency of the performance of each player of this team. The time remaining for word cup is not sufficient to even come close to it for other teams.

Its going to be between india and australia.india despite their blip against the west indies are extremely storng and they just set a record for chasing down targets the most no of times in a row.That shows their ability to bat under pressure.Pakistan and South Africa are always in with a shout ..but as of now its between india and australia...i just hope this time when india meet them ...they believe in themselves more and not repeat what happened in the WC 2003 final. Its going to be an intresting WC and judging by the slow nature of the pitches the WI currently have ...the stroke makers may struggle and those who play late will flourish.

West Inides have a great chance of winning especially with Home Advantage. They have a young talented side with some veterans. They recently blown away India 4-1 in their last home series.

well acording to the current situation it is really very hard to guess which team is going to win the world cup.... it can either be any four of these teams....
Australia-Since they are the no. team in the world and are in real form.... but it wont be easy for them to win it three times in a row this is what happened to brazil in the world cup...
India-They are really my favraties in the world cup... they have a very young team and very gud form....the can be reffered to england in fifa world cup...
South Africa- They are in great form... they have the ability to beat any team... dnt forget the 436 runs game....they are like france in the fifa world cup....
West Indies- Home advantage thats it.. also their performance against india... they can be refferd to germany in fifa world cup...
