Girls live for shopping! but most often than now, we buy things we later regret. Why would we rather see our money right where we can see them, hanging on our closets? Is this another of them girly obsessions...or is it just simply therapeutic?

Well from a male point of view:
1. its because they control the pocketbook
2. are subject to low self esteem and that generates a need for the immediate gratification that comes from impulse buying.
3. women focus on potentials more than men so their mind's eye shows them a visions at the store that comes apart once they get it home.
4. Women are born with an extra shoe buying gene and their own inherent good taste tells them that then they just have to matching belts, gloves, hats, .... coats and then they naturally will have nothing that goes with those accouterments so they will need a new outfit and that mean new matching undies... all of which means they have to get their hair done with a manicure and pedicure and might as well throw in a good massage.
5. Which means us guys had better get another job and work some extra hours to pay for it all.
6. Lastly after all the hard work you ladies have done shopping ..... us guys had better bring home a string of Japanese pearls with matching ear rings as they go with any outfit and take you out dining and dancing. LOL

Well, everyone loves to shop, whether they know it or not, men and women love to own stuff. But in terms of the impulse buying from a woman's perspective, pressure. Women see things that look pretty or would look good on them and they want to buy it. Why? because society deems that all women must be pretty or least have an attempt at it. When was the last time a guy walked up to a girl and said, "hey, what's up avergage? I saw you from the bar looking all average and plain over here and i thought god, how average you are?" It doesnt happen, and girls are instilled with this behavior from early ages, usually this pulse is mroe apparent in single women, but married women who still want to look young and sexy do this too. Men, are just as guilty. So it's human nature i guess to be attractive and to own things you think make you appear cool, or seem beautiful when you know it is gonna run you into debt. Men do the same thing with the latest LAWNMOWER, or the cool new car, or the new... you get the point.

I'll tell you this I hate shopping. I really do. But what is tempting about is shopping is the variety of different things they have available and mostly we're not content with just one. My impulsive buying habit is books, I love to read and mostly I read suspense or romance novels. I would buy a ton per month. I know it sounds weird. Most women are into clothes and beauty products. I help myself curb the habit by walking with as little money as I can in my bag and I avoid certain displays or stores that I know sell books I like. Its hard. But once I hang in there, I end up denying the temptation. However I slip now and again. I think its more or less control. You need to know how to control yourself and the habit.

I don't often but when I do it's usually right before "that" time of the month or there is some event coming up that I am very nervous about. I had a friend though who was in a bad marriage and was constantly buying things to fill the empty spaces of her house and her heart.
Always keep reciepts. Regrets in shopping can often times be easily fixed.

Thats a situation faced by all and this is what marketers like just so that they keep pushing their stock on to the customers. Retail marketing is a science in itself...just observation in a mall on any hour of the day when there's peak traffic will let you know..brands are stacked in such a way that one tends to buy them..and later we regret that we bought something we did never intended to! Irony how marketers themselves never indulge in such shopping frenzy..however the last part that shopping is therapeutic is partly true...if one is depressed then psychologically you get more involved just to play even with your purchasing power..

perchance i'm incorrect right here, yet i do not see trans human beings as being a lot distinct from absolutely everyone else. sure, issues should be tougher for them, yet they don't look to be always. Trans each and every individual isn't always suffering. they're like absolutely everyone else. all of us have insecurities. all of us have rigidity & stress. We ought to all struggle through somewhat at one element or yet another. all of us warfare. each and every individual ought to objective to locate good in a challenge & do what they could to experience better about themselves. no matter if you're gay, instantly, trans, bi, or someplace in between doesn't actual remember. we are all of us. i'm positive issues are distinct for each individual, yet i believe we may be able to all locate procedures to appreciate how others experience, a minimum of somewhat. it type of feels to me that you're offended with those who attempt to allow you to understand that it is stupid to settle on gender reassignment surgical operation, or hormones once you've been born with that body. i'd be offended too. Please don't be offended with those individuals that attempt to appreciate. I see no problem with attempting to appreciate how others experience. i believe it facilitates us all get alongside somewhat better.

please don't say all women. I don't remember nominating you as my spokesperson. I earn my own money, and I don't buy on impulse, and I don't regret my purchases. That's just you and a few other silly little girls who have money to throw around.
