Hello..Dear, I do understand you because I am 27 years old and I do combat with the same problem.I used so many things. Well, seems that your acne is chronical and is mainly hormonal..I don't think that it's wise to be on bc pills,really..Topically I don't know have you used it before, but helps a lot Zynerit (contains Erythromicin and Zink) and works fine.As supplement I take the anti-oxidant combination of Vit. A(beta caroten),Vit.E, Vit.C and Selenium..Zink taken is also a plus. Maybe if you suspect that you have also alimentary allergy make some tests.Best of luck!

Please go to www.wonderful.myarbonne.com and check out their Clear Advantage Line. Arbonne products are pure, safe and beneficial. They have no animal by-products in them and are never tested on animals. I read a blog where a 26 year old was telling how she had tried everything out there and had been on Rx's for her acne and nothing worked until she used this. She said it took about 4 weeks to see results, but that now she is completely cleared and won't use anything else. You can pay a 29.00 consultant fee and this gives you 35% off all Arbonne products. This does not mean you have to sell anything. It's like a Sam's Club memebership. Good luck to you.

I have the same problem. Why is it that we feel so alone?? I look around and it seems like everyone else has clear, porcelain-like skin ... I get really depressed sometimes, even though I'm grounded and intelligent :) this still gets me down!
Ok, like you, I've tried everything. I came across this new stuff while I was searching the internet and it sounded different than everything else I've tried. So far, I'm convinced that's it's a miracle!! Let me go grab the bottle, and I'll give you the website ... brb ...
k, it's called Carley's Clear and Smooth Skin Treatment. I found it through the paypal store search, but the address on the bottle is www.no-acne.com
It came with a huge bottle of "treatment", and a gigantic block of "soap" ... it's not pretty, being "homemade soap", but it works wonders. The treatment is truly unique. It's made with all sorts of things, cornmeal, mangos, walnut shells ... you name it.
Just go to the website and read up on it. They list every ingredient and tell you its purpose. You can also use it on your body, not just your face. It not only makes pimples go away, it actually makes your skin feel like silk ... wow.
It might not work for everyone, but it DEFINITELY is working for me. Good luck! And please remember, you're not alone ... and you're definitely not GROSE! Try this stuff and let me know if it's working for you. I'm curious!

It's really tough but you have to change your diet No sweets, no alcohol, no smoking if you do.
Vitamins just for skin now available at drug stores and one thing that helped my friend not just to get rid of acne but also fade scars from acne is tea tree oil(3% twice a day apply with cotton ball).
I also heard that yeast which used to make beer helps in severe cases of acne but I don't know any details so won't recommend that.
Good Luck!

If you haven't tried it, try clinique 3 step. It actally worked for me. It's a bar that you use, then a toner, then a moisturizer with no oil. It works.
I have the same problem with my back and stuff and I can pretty much keep it under control by using an exfoliating sponge when I shower. I got mine at Walmart so it doesn't have to be expensive. Also, I don't use soap because it leaves a film that gets in your pours. I use an antibacterial body wash.
Hope this works for you. It should. If it doesn't, it's probably hormonal so your doc will be able to give you something for it.

okay, take it from me! I have acne and I FINALLY have it under control! I read ACNE FOR DUMMIES from cover to cover! No, really!!! It says to use a gentle face cleanser NOT a medicated one, then use a salycylic acid cream or gel (I use one made by AVON) then use a cream with benzoyl peroxide in it (I use the repair cream from Proactive). According to the book, too much medication is NOT good so using the gentle cleanser is best. Also, they say that salycilic acid doesn't work without another medication with it such as benzoyl peroxide AND it helps the benzoyl peroxide to work better on your skin! I hope I helped!

Stay away from the fruit juices, stay away from Dairy, thats milk, cheese, ect. Drink lots of water and switch to Ivory Soap. And if your taking perscriptions try to get off them if possible and if not look into the side effects of all of them to see if this is the cuase. Also consider changing yout laundry detergent to make sure its not causing that and finally goto a dermotogist to have the conidtion looked at if all else fails.

Could you be allergic to laundry detergent? Try using hypoallergenic laundry detergent (should be able to get it in any regular grocery store). Also, try only washing once a day with organic soap or (hypoallergenic soap). Get more sun to help dry your skin. have you tried tea tree oil (apply on infected skin)? or witch hazel (wash face once a day with this mild astringent).I cant think of anything else for you to try. Good luck. :)
Remember, maybe for you less is more. Use less harshness on your skin and touch it less.

accutane was what did it for me. but i see u already took it so i dont know what to tell you. although, i have heard of people having to take accutane twice. if ur acne is bad enough, then i guess u could ask ur dermatologist about taking it again if ur willing. that stuff is strong and dries the hell out of ur skin lol, which im sure u already know. i tried proactive for a year and my acne was no better the day i quit using it than the day i started it. never changed. i guess u could ask ur dermatologist about something a little milder than accutane. i tried several pills b4 i tried accutane, u could try one of them.
