I think they can be, if neither of them are even slightly attracted to the other one. If they have ever had a romantic relationship or one has had a crush on the other, then I don't think it's possible. I think you have to be very careful with male/female friendships.

Yes i think that they can be just friends, as a matter of fact i think its actually healthy because you can an opinion from the opposite sex which may help out way more than advice from the same sex and u can sort of expand ur horizons.

I think so. I have plenty of male friends that I haven't gone there with. So what if one wants more, as long as neither acts on it. I do believe, however, that two people of the opposite sex can be friends--platonic. I have a friend who I am really, really cool with and I would never think twice and neither would he.

I think it is possible in theory, but difficult in reality. Also, how close of friends? Because that is the true testament. If you are talking about best friends - I find that to be tougher to believe. If you mean acquaintances, I think it is possible... but your guys friends are still thinking about whether or not they could have you.

well, he must feel insecure, thats not good, he must have trust in you as you him, plus im the one who asked if you were male or female, im sorry, now i know.but yes they can be friends, i have a girlfriend ,and my wife knows theres nothing there and never will be, plus my wife has a close boyfriend, and i know theres nothing there, we trust each other a 100percent. and were very happy

I know they can. My best friend is a married woman. I tell her I love her and we express friendly affection... but we have very clear boundaries.
