egg, because the hen evolved from another species. At a certain point, this predecessor lays an egg of the new species, the hen. So the EGG comes first

Technically, the chicken would have had to evolved from a different species. So, the different species gave birth to a mutated speces which happened to carry the genetics to the next generation, and, ergo, the egg came first. Then the chicken.

God created animals in their adult form so the chicken came first before the egg. The egg will not be a chicken if not of the chicken that warms it. God will not let the baby animals to wander around in danger of the wild. He wanted parents to take care of them.

That explains why Adam and Eve dont have a belly button. they were created as adults not as fetus first.

if you believe in God it would be the hen as he didnt create eggs but animals.

there is two version.
First, in the bible, god create the animal, not their eggs so it is hen first.
Second, in science,there is evolution, so the eggs of the first chicken come first and laid by nealy chicken evolution

well it depends what you believe .It says in the Bible that the animals were all mature in Genesis but if your into science the egg came first by evolution .sorry if i made that one confusing
