Good question. I know for a fact that there are girls out there that love trek. I am a CO in a Star Trek PBeM RPG group, Borderlands: Federation and Empire, and I am a girl. Out of the ships I play on I'd have to estimate there are probably 13 girls and about 25 guys. I'd have to check for sure, but hey, I'm used to being in the minority as a girl... going into aerospace engineering... actually make Star Trek happen... which means I'm always surrounded by guys. So a 13:25 ratio is actually pretty good from my point of view. (At school I probably face a 1:90 ratio... I do believe that's what statistics reported last)

I really like all of the Star Wars movies but Star Trek I just don't watch!

I am not a girl, but I know plenty in my own community that enjoy Star shows... Star Trek, Star Wars, Star Gate, etc.... but if you need any other proof, there is a international community which some of the head power in it is female. Starfleet International Fan Association www.sfi.org

No, I love Star Wars and most of Star Trek, although I didn't really warm to Enterprise. It's not just a guy thing, I know plenty of other girls who like science fiction too.

your not alone I have seen all the Star War movies and enjoyed Star Trek in the days of William Shatner! then I have gone on to watch all the other Captains along with the new ships and ever changing crew, then along came all the other science fiction series Star-gate,Enterprise Babylon 5 and more recently in the UK Dr Who.
So there are girls/woman who enjoy the science fiction series.

I was raised on Trek and came to love Wars when I was about 11 or 12. Female fans may be more rare than males, but we're here all the same.

i like star wars and star trek and i saw the premier of the original star wars movie in the late 70's so i am way past the point of being a girl....
