This is for a space lesson for key stage 3. Am hoping if i cannot find any clips that if i do this experiment with a hollow dolls head and shaving foam it will expland out of the doll head. Please can anyone let me know if they've done this and if it works?! Many thanks in advance!

There is a movie clip from either The Abyss or Leviathan that shows the villain coming up to the surface too quickly. He begins bleeding from various orifices in his head. This is not exactly what you want but you could make the connection of moving from higher pressure to lower pressure too quickly. Most of the space movies such as Mission to Mars shows a guy in space without his helmet but he freezes due to the near absolute zero temperatures. I have never tried the doll head idea, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Shaving foam, marshmallows and balloons all expand in a vacuum. Thanks for the idea, I may just use it myself in my class this fall.
