I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. I've had lots of nausea on & off throughout the day & night, extreme sensitivity to smells, & my breasts are sore & seem a little fuller. My last period was June 16th. I know it's early, but if I have enough Hcg to cause all this for the last 2 weeks, wouldn't it show up by now?

I've not missed my period yet, it's not due until, I'm guessing, the 14th.

If your body is sensitive to Hcg or other hormones produced as a result of the pregnancy, you could have symptoms before your Hcg levels would register on a pregnancy test. Wait a week, and if your period doesn't start, test again.

If u were pregnant, then yes it would shouw up on a test. You might want to check and see if the test is any good. Just because you have tender breast and sensitivity to smells doesn't mean anything. I have extreme sensitivity to smells but I'm not pregnant at all. I have always been like that since I was little. I have sinus problems and I can be around a lot of stuff but it doesn't stop me. If you missed your period, then may be you missed it because you were stressed out. Stress can make lots of thing happen. You can miss your period, have tender breast and you hair can fall out. If I were you, I'd go to the doctor just to make sure. I hope that this can help you.

not necessarily. I took 3 home pregnancy tests, one 3 days before I went to the hospital and found out I was 7 weeks. I would have a blood test done at the doctor. if you are pregnant they will check your hormone level. Good luck

I would check with a doctor as this could be symptoms of something else. You can miss a period due to being under lots of stress, not eating properly, heavy duty workouts where lots of bodyfat is lost. This could also result in being nauseated. A complete physical can rule out a lot.

you would think, but sometimes those tests don't work. I took 3 tests at home and one at the doctors office that all came out negative-come to find out I was 2 months pregnant! Take another one, go have blood work done.

no, it wont show until you're actually late and even later than that sometimes. I would wait until you're due for your period to take another test (cause they are not cheap) and then if you still don't start, I would take one again about 4-5 days later. I know, trust me, how hard it is to wait when you're anxious, but the tests get really expensive

I think the most accurate pregnancy test out right now still will only detect the hormone up to 5 days before you next menstrual cycle. Good luck though!!!

You need to see the doctor. I took pregnancy tests with both children and they were negative even though I was already pregnant! You probally need a blood test!

OTC pregnancy tests can be wrong even if you are pregnant. Go to your doctor and have them test, just to be sure.
