she is 18 years old and has had multiple seizures since 10pm last night and has yet to come to.... can anyone give me a heads up about this... what are the stats that she will be fine?

her parents do know, they are currently at the hospital with her, duhhhh!!! i am just worried cause she hasn't come to yet

Hi. If she hasn't come to yet, then I'm really glad that she's in the hospital...she really needs to be stabalized. And unfortunately, there is a good chance she may not be ok. Your friend will need a lot of help right now, but make sure you take care of yourself as well. Bach's Rescue Remedy really helps. Good luck, and I wish you the best! She has status eplepticus she needs to GOTO HOSPITAL. She wont stop having them. If she gets treated with Intra Venous medications she will be fine. I have had Epilepsy since 6 months old. She must have had these before HER PARENTS SHOULD KNOWN BETTER THAN THIS.

I dont know, Im not a Dr, but I do have a couple of friends who do have Epilepsy, and are fine, they work. They cant drive, but they are living normal lives. But in your friends daughters case, I dont know. All you can do is pray.

a good idea at this point is to call 911 usually there's no harm but with a multiples it means her medication blood level may be low and needs to be checked..it may also indicate that there may be something else going on ....
