DS definitely. PSP games are slow to load, and there are no stand out games available. The DS has a ton of new possibilities in gameplay with the touchscreen and the sound/air sensitive mic. (A geat game for the DS that practically showcases these features is Warioware). Also the DS has the advantage of also being backward compatible with all the old Gameboy Advance games, so there is a huge library of games available for the unit at a reasonable price. As for the movies that you can watch on the PSP, the screen is too small and there's not enough sound to make it worth it to buy movie in both DVD and PSP format...just get a portable DVD player.

Buts that's not all, its screen is brighter then the DS lite and you have a USB port! you could do millions of things using a USB

It all depends on if you want a handheld for gaming or other media
If you want a gaming handheld, get the DS. Its cheaper and has fun games.
If you want a handheld that just about does anything a computer does, get a PSP. ( the games aren't as good though)

Ds Lite. IN Europe (hopefully US later) you can actually WEB SURF. Go to a Ds Download Station and it will download MOVIES. Once all that is equalized, it's PSP's music download vs. DS' BUILT IN mic, touch screen, and BUILT IN chatroom (unlike using online ones for PSP). The DS games also have way more interactivity, and also has more 2-D side-scrollers.

Both, probably,price doesn't matter, the DS lite is crap and PSP works fine, If u want a DS,get the regular one.

the ds is better. this is coming from a guy who OWNS a psp. harsh lesson learnd. don't buy something that just looks cool.

well i like ps2 over xbox360 and gamecube but in this case ds cuase psp loading sucks
