Last night a friend of mine had a heart attack in his hot tub. He was only 40. I am 23 and worked with him, but he was a friend that i joked with at work. So i would be interested in hearing your take on the following question. How long do any of us really have, are our lives just set up to end at any second, what about all the unfinished things we have to do, what happens to them? Am I next, could i go at any minute? it's sad and disturbing to think about, but it's the truth.

good train of thought.

a few years back a young girl that I knew died after having an astma attack. then a couple months after that another girl that i was close to had an astma attack and was rushed to the hospital. She survived.. A couple years after that a girl that i was close to recieved brain damage in a car accident.

Who knows exactly why things happen. but I believe with everything in me (even after all of what has happened in my life)
that everything happens for a reason and good will always come of it even if I do not see it with my own eyes.

Nobody can answer this question except God. We really don't know when is our time, but what we can do is just to be ready when it comes. No matter how careful you are, if it's your time you can't do anything about it. Sometimes people have a freak death.

All we have is here and now - that's why the things that you acquire in life (material things) are not so important, but those we love are.
