Yes. Precoital fluid in itself does not contain sperm however quite often the vas defrens can pass along sperm prior to ejaculation and cause pregnancy. The "rhythm method" of early removal is about as successful as flying with big feather wings. You need to use protection not only to prevent pregnancy but also STDs.
