There are tons of things to do in San Antonio. We have two boys 10 and 8 and we took them to Sea World, Six Flags Fiesta TX, the Riverwalk, the Market Place, The Ripleys Haunted Manison, The Alamo... need I go on? This is now our favorite vacation spot and will continue to go there. I do not think San Antonio could every be boring. :)

Sea World and Fiesta Texas of course

San Antonio Zoo
Witte Children's Museum (near the zoo, take the miniature train across Breckenridge Park).

For some cultural/educational time try the Alamo, take the Missions trail, try the Institute of Texan Cultures, the Riverwalk

Nearby - Schlitterbahn water park in New Braunfels (best in the world), for a lazy day go to Gruene (oldest dance hall in Texas, wine shops, good food)

Sea world, Fiesta TX, Riverwalk, the Flea Market, Six Flags Theres so much to do there!!! Go to Austin with youre there, visit the capital. Its about 1 hr to an 1 1/2 hr. Go to the zoo and you have to go to the ALAMO!! From the Alamo you can walk across the street and go the "Ripleys Museum" and next door to that they have a wax museum. I like to hit the several malls they have too. I dont live there but I visit at least 4 times a yr and I live pretty far.(Amarillo)
