My fiance and I have been dating for about three months and we are so much in love. Should we get married this quick or wait a year?

My husband and I got married after dating for 6 months. We've been married 7.5 years now.

My mom and step dad got married after dating 3 months. They've been together 17 years now.

When you get married though, look at as a life time commitment. Don't go into it with the thinking that if it doesn't work out we will just get a divorce.

Only you two know if you are ready. Good Luck!

I think it's really important to wait at least a year into a relationship to get married, and maybe a year and a half is even better. The "honeymoon phase" usually lasts around 6-9 months, and you need to see if you guys are still so much in love after that, in a realistic way. Remeber, you should be spending the rest of your life with him if you marry him, so what's a year? no time at all. Good Luck!
