I just think it's human to cry. You don't just cry because you're happy, sad, or hormonal. (I can think of frustration and disappointment being contributing factors as well. Sometimes it's physical too...such as hunger or exhaustion). It doesn't have to do with being programmed or brainwashed into crying for attention. Because a lot of the time when you are crying...you don't want people to notice you're upset. I think people assume women cry to manipulate or get their own way. But I just think it's a natural response to ANY overwhelming emotion. Crying may not always be predictable...but it's nothing to be ashamed about either.

Crying is built into most girls from birth. We were inadvertently programmed to cry for attention. Boys were taught to stop after a certain age, but girls were encouraged to show their feelings and emotions throughout childhood. You may feel like you need to cry every now and then because your subconscious thinks you need attention, or you aren't getting enough of the things that make you joyous. It all has to do with how your emotions were constructed when you were young. Cry, and then laugh about it if you must.

humans tend to try to lock there feeling inside them. And every once and a while we just have to let all those emotions out.
