Ever since I put it down four months ago, she's still there, no strings, and I just can't pick it up even though I miss playing!!
I've been trying to record my own compositions, still no CD yet

First and foremost, you must get some strings on that thing. It needs to be ready when you are. Somewhere along the way you will just suddenly need to pick it up and play. If the instrument is somehow frustrating you, try another instrument for awhile. If my guitar gets on my nerves, I go to my keyboard and vice-versa.

Your guitar has no strings? That's not good for the neck. Five bucks for some strings will save you lots of money on neck repair.

When I'm not feeling motivated to play guitar, I play another instrument. Drums, bass, hell, pick up a tuba. Soon enough, you'll be back. They ALWAYS come back, ha ha ha ha.....
